Our Story
Starmount Villa is a beautiful family-run Residential Care Home nestled in a serene location that combines the beauty of nature with the convenience of nearby amenities.
Influenced by their own experiences caring for their elderly parents, the business was acquired by Ray and Lesley Swinnerton in 2001. Ray and Lesley dedicated more than twenty years to develop their own skills, a quality team of staff, and developed the building itself to provide the high standard of care your loved ones deserve, acquiring a fantastic reputation within the community along the way.
Growing up in the Starmount Villa family, Emma and Harry Swinnerton have an invested interest in upholding the standards set by their parents and are equally dedicated to not only continue their legacy in Lesley’s memory, but continue to improve the home using their own skills and experience.

Starmount Villa is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide high-quality accommodation for individuals who require personal care.
We specialise in supporting residents with a range of health conditions, including dementia and other age-related illnesses, offering tailored care plans designed to promote comfort and quality of life.
Our facilities include 30 single bedrooms, many with en suite bathrooms, alongside four inviting lounge areas.
